Pin-joint rim is out of date! Hold on! This is not exactly right! The new coming “Wasp
Sting” series will absolutely change conventional views of pin-joint rim.

With traditional round shape steel pin, pin-joint rim gained bicyclists’ reliance on
its stability and strength, however, it also limit possibility on rim design. For example,
if designer tempts to use pin with larger width of section, it could influence dynamic
balance of the rim. Moreover, using pin which made of different material could risk
taking down the strength of the rims. These are paradox of traditional pin-joint rim.

“Wasp Sting” series successfully solve these problems by adopting customized pin-
Wasp Sting, we name it. A 304 stainless steel pin screw in preformed hollow aluminum
alloy stick can effectively enhance both strength of the seam and the joint itself.

This unique component provides wide possibilities on designing rims for heavy duty
